Program Officer, Civic Engagement and Government (States Working Group)

The Ford Foundation's Civic Engagement and Government (CEG) program is seeking a Program Officer to help evolve and implement the foundation's States Working Group (SWG) across the foundation's six priority geographies (FL, LA, MN, MI, NY, TX) and potentially new ones. The PO will work with the Director and four other program officers, supporting members of the SWG to identify key ecosystems, analyze challenges and opportunities, seek rigorous evidence about program effectiveness, identify levers of change, and play a leading role in shaping specific grant activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working closely with historically marginalized communities to keep their lived experiences at the center of CEG's grant-making approach.
