William Greaves Research & Development Fund

The William Greaves Research & Development Fund provides grants of up to $40K each to mid-career nonfiction filmmakers from underrepresented communities in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Puerto Rico, and Colombia who are working on a feature-length nonfiction film. The fund is also open to filmmakers who identify as being of Indigenous and/or of African descent. In addition to supporting research and development on their film project, grantees may also use the funding for any essential needs, including healthcare and childcare costs.
